Whether you’re going for a pixie, shaggy or bob, short hair rules this spring! Here, how to make the most of this cut:
Step 1: Wash frequently
Do not over condition hair as it can get greasy, which is more noticeable on short hair. Oil build-up can be spread along the hair shaft when you comb through long hair, but on short cuts there’s no where for the oil to go so wash it frequently.
Step 2: Heat with care
Avoid blow drying short tresses too. If not, it’ll turn dry and frizzy. To create esy movement in short hair, use a leave-in treatment to protect hair from thermal damage. Then blow-dry, using your fingers to style and shape. Next, create definition by applying a styling cream for medium control.
Step 3: Style galore
Short hair is so versatile! Here’s the tips to help you achieve the look you want. Give fine, short hair volume by blow-drying strands at the crown with a round brush. Avoid using waxes, pomade or even serum as they’ll weigh strands down. Also, give hair a lift by using volumizing shampoo. If you have choppy cut, bring out the texture with highlights or tipping. Try temporary haircolour in funky hues.
For a texturized style, skip conditioner and rinse with cold water to give hair shine. Using a flat brush, blow-dry hair to one side. Direct air flow from end to root while ruffling hair. Then, brush hair to the other side. When hair is dry, spritz on a medium hold spray. Separate hair into sections around the head and backcomb for a lift. To style a shapeless boy-cut, apply a styling treatment on damp hair and scrunch for an unkempt look.

I’ve tried cutting my hair as short as ear-length. I can really say that my hair can really greasy at times. It can be really hard at first to maintain a short hair since most of us are used to having long hair. It can also be tricky but once you get used to it and you learn to style your hair based on your preference, it can actually be pretty good and hassle free.
My hair is short and I have this problem about the cut. It made me look thin and I don’t like it. I couldn’t think of any remedy by haircut again, so I thought of using hair products to make my hair look lively. What do you recommend?
I’m thinking of products that will make my hair look lively and not flat. My hair is short and thin, I want it to become bouncy as well. I’ve tried different haircuts, but it doesn’t work. I need help… Please…
Hi, I got a short haircut 2months ago and it gave me lots of problems on my first week. I couldn’t manage it and I almost regret cutting it short. But then I got used to it for some time, I’m happy now. Technique is same as Step2. Avoid over blow drying since it would make the hair look frizzy and unreal. Haha makes our hair look like a wig.
